I’ve seen several methods for felting wool around soap. I thought it would make great gifts. I love making soap and this seems like a logical next step for a gift. I tried out felting some high-quality french soap (the kind that lasts a really long time) and it was great. I used the method for felting that I found at the funky felter. It was really easy and fun. I highly suggest trying it. I gave my soap to my mother-in-law for her birthday so I’ll have to see how she likes it. I think next time I’ll have to try it around some homemade soap.
