It’s my first finish for 2019! This is actually a late Christmas gift for my sister. It has since been delivered and she absolutely LOVED it! She crochet’s all the time and is always making something with yarn. We live on opposite sides of the city and she doesn’t drive so we don’t get together as often as we would like but we text almost daily and share pictures back and forth of what we’re working on. It was so much fun to surprise her with this tote.

I plan on making a sister version of this bag for myself using the same exterior sheep fabric, the same binding and handle fabric, but different lining and pocket fabrics. (Mine will be green prints).

I used a beautiful periwinkle pin dot for the sides/interior lining fabric and a gorgeous blue Robert Kaufman (I think) print for the interior pockets.

This was the first Maker’s Tote (pattern by Noodlehead) I have made. It was really easy to follow and I’m excited to make mine.

I loved the sheep fabric so much I decided to leave off the front snap pocket on one side. I did make the inserted zipper pocket and I am glad I did. I’m not sure if I’ll add the snap pocket on the next version or not. We’ll see…

Happy Sewing!
