Connor has recently been into angry birds. He loves the games and his new favorite movie is Rio. If you haven’t seen it, it’s a great family movie. I love the music and colors; the kids love it all. The last time we watched Rio, he drew these pictures. Didn’t he do a good job for only being six??

So while perusing the blog world I saw this post about making angry bird softies. Connor saw it and went nuts! So I made him a red angry bird and Gwyneth a girl version (where I added a bow, eyelids and eyelashes and changed the eyebrows a bit).

They were a big hit with the kids. I love how they turned out. Perhaps you may see a yellow and blue bird in the future — and maybe even a pig or two!
Be careful, those bird patterns are addictive! I eventually made 2 complete sets.
My kids at home are 17 and 24, but we got a kick out of Angry Birds too. I may make myself a set of Angry Birds!
