easy peasy placemat pattern

I’m happy to announce the release of another pattern: Easy-Peasy Placemats, available in my shop.

As the name implies, they are easy to make. They are great for beginners who are just starting quilting (who have had some experience), but they also make a smart economical gift.  Not only are they fabulous to look at, but they require very little fabric and have almost no waste.

To make the placemats, you only need four 1/2 yard cuts of fabric and one craft size package of batting (or a piece approximately 34″ x 45″).  You can substitute eight fat quarters for the 1/2 yard cuts OR use a partial jelly roll and a yard of fabric to make them.

They are so much fun to make and so useful!

In addition to the placemats, instructions are included to make a set of four 6″ square coasters.  The fabric requirements listed includes fabric for the coasters as well.
