It’s day 3 of the Charming Mini Blog Hop! Follow along this week to see all the fun over at Happy Hour Stitches by Lindsay Mayland (@lindsmayland on social media). It’s always fun to join in blog hops and see everyone’s unique take on the pattern.

This is my version of the Charming Mini quilt. I made mine 4 x 4 square using 16 blocks and measuring at 10.5″ x 10.5″. I used 2 mini charm packs of Sphere by Zen Chic for Moda and then picked which squares I would used.

I also chose to randomize the borders for each of the tiny four squares in the centers of the blocks. I also chose to keep the center square fabrics pale and light compared to the dark but bright border fabrics. I love how it turned out!

This mini was very easy to make and very fast. I spent the most time just choosing my fabrics and working on the layout as I sewed. I can’t decide if this mini will be used as a pretty trivet or just hung as a mini in my studio – or maybe both!

Happy Sewing!
